Doç. Dr. Levent Renda
He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Trabzon in 1995. In the same year, he gained admission to Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and graduated with the title of medical doctor in 2001.
Achieving a high rank in the TUS exam, he began his specialization in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) at Ankara Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital. He successfully completed his residency as an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist in 2009. During 2009-2010, due to military service, he worked as an Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist at Erzincan Military Hospital. He completed his mandatory service at Ankara Polatlı State Hospital between 2010-2013. In 2013, he achieved a high rank in the Assistant Professorship exam and started working as an assistant professor in the education cadre at Antalya Training and Research Hospital.
In 2014, he successfully passed the European Board of Otolaryngology exam in Vienna, earning the European Board Qualification certificate. The following year, he obtained the Turkish Ear, Nose, and Throat Qualification certificate. In 2017, he received a scholarship from the Turkish Ear, Nose, and Throat Society and conducted a one-year clinical fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Ear, Nose, and Throat Department, one of the world's leading cancer centers in Taipei. During this period, he actively participated in over 200 head and neck surgeries, provided training to assistants, and authored articles from various research projects.
He presented at numerous international conferences and participated in various surgical and medical courses during this period. In 2018, he returned to Turkey and became an Associate Professor. During this period, he continued to work as a consultant surgeon in the Head and Neck Surgery department at Antalya Training and Research Hospital (2013-2019). In 2019, he was invited by Prof. Dr. Giovanni Succo, the Head of the European Laryngology Department, to visit the Candiolo Cancer Institute in Turin. Also, in the same year, he attended the Da Vinci Robotic Surgery course in Strasbourg, France, and received the Console Surgeon certificate. In September 2019, he left his position in public service and started working at Antalya Memorial Hospital in the Ear, Nose, and Throat department. In 2020, he began working as a faculty member in the Department of Audiology and Speech Sciences at Istanbul Gelişim University Faculty of Health Sciences.
He actively participates as a speaker and panelist in numerous national and international conferences each year.
